  • Our hair is most vulnerable when it is wet because it is in its most fragile state and is very prone to breakage. In order to protect it, you should opt for a wide toothed comb and comb through your hair as gently as you can in order to limit the occurrence of breakage.


  • It seems counterproductive to cut your hair every 6 weeks, especially if you are looking to gain length however a regular trim is a very important part of controlling split ends. If we do not tackle split ends with a trim, they will end up rising up the hairs length and next time you go to the hairdressers, they will have cut off a lot of length in order to completely remove the split ends.


  • Conditioning is important, especially at the ends of your hair in order to lock in moisture however many people seem to forget about hair oils. These oils are bursting with important minerals, vitamins and fatty acids that help strengthen the roots and protect from sun damage and dandruff. Plus, it also leaves a lovely shine!
