Aerobic: This is a term that describes exercise with oxygen. Aerobic training and exercise generally occurs at a lower intensity and its purpose is to help improve the metabolism.

Anaerobic: Processes that are anaerobic take place inside the cells of our body without oxygen which means that anaerobic exercises are high intensity and occur for a short period of time.

Basal Metabolic Rate: Often shortened to the initialism BMR, this is the lowest amount of calories that your body requires in order to sustain life at rest and carry out bodily processes and reactions per day. It is the minimum amount of calories we should consume.

Endurance: This refers to the body’s ability to carry out exercise without fatigue. The better out endurance, the longer we can continue our activity.
