The majority of people associate factor 50 with children when it is in fact perfectly acceptable for adults too, particularly those that are sensitive to the sun. After all, sunburn is no laughing matter. Plus, it is possible to suffer 2nd degree blister burns from sitting out in the sun all day without protection and these are known to scar.
